There is a $20,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest and conviction responsible for Deanna's murder. The reward money was raised through fund-raisers, donations, and the sale of t-shirts. The interest on the reward provides a scholarship fund.  

One recipient annually receives a $500 scholarship. The recipient must be a student in the Child Development Program at Somerville High School. The winnr for the 2003-2004 school year was Jennifer Goodspeed.

Any student hoping to be a candidate can apply to the Guidance Department of Somerville High School at 617-625-6600, Extension 6120.
